How it Works

MyUnionJournal is essentially three simple services packed into one simple package: 1. Make text entries (journal & diary writing, note taking, list maiking, etc.). 2. Upload photos (all those pics you never want to lose). 3. File uploads (optional feature that is great for backing up all your really important files and documents).

After you create an account, you can login to your private online journal from any computer with internet access. You provide your password, which acts as an 'encryption key'. This protects everything you ever write by scrambling it completely. It also does this on any photos and files you add to your online journal.

While you are logged in, you can read and look through your journal normally. On the back end, your journal is always completely encrypted. Without your password, every word you've ever written is jumbled nonsense. No one can ever read your journal except you. That even includes the programmers who created this web service. MUJ-TextEntry

The following screen shows what it looks like to upload an image to the system. It is simple to upload your images to your account. Simply browse your computer, find the picture you want to upload and click Save Entry.

The following screen shows what it looks like to upload a file to the system. This system accepts all major file types including pdf documents. It is a great backup for those crucial documents. This feature is only available with an MUJ Unlimted Gold, Silver, or Platinum package and it works just like the photo upload feature.

The following screen shows what the calendar looks like on the system. The calendar is awesome because you can always go to your calendar to select the exact day in which you want to write, upload images / documents or just search. The great part is that the days that you have previously recorded information are highlighted for your quick reference, so you can always see which days you have made journal entries or uploads.

The following screen shows your personal profile section of the system. This is the simple part of the system that houses all your adminstrative information. You can go here to upgrade/downgrade your account, or just check that your information is accurate.

The following screen shows the search feature of the system. Searching your journal is a hugely helpful tool. Simply put, you can search on any word or phrase and the search feature will scan your entire journal and then list each of your entries that have your search criteria. So always remember to give your entries names and headings that you can easily search.

1 What information should I put in my journal? bye
- The sky is the limit! This is your own personal electronic diary. Maybe you have some great vacation memories and photos you would like to chronicle. You may be an inventor or entrepreneur and would like to keep a detailed record of when you thought of that next big idea. Maybe you just want a place to backup all those important documents, like taxes, wills, marriage licenses, etc. This is your journal, make it what you want!
2 What if I forget my password? bye
- You can email MUJ through the secure online support form and request your password. MUJ does not have record of your exact password, however we will provide the password hint to you that you assigned when you first registered. So remember, always keep your password in a safe place.
3 Who can use MyUnionJournal? bye
- Anyone, 13 years and older. Everyone from students to retirees benefit from MyUnionJournal, and we guarantee utmost integrity and quality in this innovative American made service.
4 Who can read my journal? bye
- Only You! Everything you ever do in your journal can only be unscrambled by your password. Even the programmers who built this site cannot access your private journal.

- Our company develops several software systems for labor unions. Therfore, we found through research that many union members (such as teachers, and government workers) wanted a private place online where they could upload photos, backup files or just simply write about a great family vacation, so we created this unique system. However, in our initial launch phases, we found many of you (union or not) support American made and wanted a MUJ account. Therefore, everone is welcome to join, so sign up today!
